Keep the WhatsApp Business app. Add Sandra.
Your advisors keep writing from their phone, on the same number. Sandra syncs every conversation in real time, adds AI agents and archives everything, with data hosted in Switzerland.

They run their WhatsApp channel with Sandra

A channel that works, but that nobody manages
Field sales reps, point-of-sale advisors, field service technicians: for some jobs, email simply does not work. Many already talk to their customers on WhatsApp and, for the company, four problems appear.
No visibility
This is “Shadow WhatsApp”: customer conversations held outside the company's tools. Nobody knows what was said, to whom, or when.
Data loss
When an employee leaves, their customer conversations leave with them.
Compliance risk
Conversations live on a personal device with no archiving: a problem under the revised Swiss FADP and the GDPR.
No oversight
No measure of response times, and nobody to reply outside working hours.
Too many requests, and the app can't keep up
While messages stay few, a phone is enough. Once they run into dozens a day, the app no longer lets you reply to everyone, or know who is handling what.
Replies in hours, not minutes
Customers wait, chase, or go elsewhere.
Forgotten requests
Unread messages pile up, and some conversations never get a reply.
Who replies to whom?
Without a shared view, two advisors reply to the same customer, or neither does.
One number, two screens, one conversation
This is not a migration. The number stays in the advisor's app and connects to Sandra in parallel, through Meta's official API. A message sent on one side appears instantly on the other.
For the company, control
For the advisor, nothing changes

Your WhatsApp, ready to scale
Coexistence makes the channel visible. Sandra then plugs in what absorbs the volume, without changing your advisors' habits.
AI agents and conversational flows
They qualify, answer and route every request, 24/7.
Campaigns
Targeted sends to your opted-in contacts.
Reporting and analytics
Response times, volumes, conversions, per advisor.
Sync with your tools
Contacts and conversations kept up to date in the tools you already use.
Governance without disruption
You start with visibility on a channel that already exists. The rest comes when you are ready.

Coexistence connected in 20 minutes
Activation goes through Meta's secure sign-up flow, with no work for your tech team. Allow 15 to 20 minutes per advisor, history included.
Choose the existing number
In the WhatsApp settings of your Sandra workspace, you choose to connect an existing number in coexistence.
Confirm and scan the QR code
You authenticate the Meta Business account, then the advisor scans a code from “Linked devices” in their WhatsApp Business app.
Synchronise
You decide whether to import the last six months of text messages. Two-way synchronisation starts straight away.
App only, API only, Coexistence
Until now, you had to choose between your advisors' mobility and the company's control. Coexistence removes that choice.
App only
History: complete, but on the phone.
API only
History: none at activation.
Coexistence with Sandra
History: six months of text messages carried over.

The limits to know
A serious technology deserves to have its constraints set out too. Here are the points documented by Meta.

The full guide covers activation, the comparison and every limit in detail.
Do my advisors lose their contacts and history?
No. They keep their contacts and history in the app, and you can import up to six months of text conversations into Sandra at activation. This choice is final: it cannot be redone without disconnecting and reconnecting the number, and media are not imported.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business app or the personal version?
The WhatsApp Business app is required, version 2.24.17 or later. An advisor on personal WhatsApp first moves to the Business version: it is free and their history is kept.
Do messages stay free?
Those sent from the app, yes. Messages, templates and automations sent through the API are billed by Meta at its Cloud API rates, directly to your Business account.
Which plan includes coexistence?
From the Essential plan, at CHF 189 per month per account, which also includes a first AI agent and three conversational scenarios. The Start plan does not include it.
What changes in the app after connection?
Broadcast lists become read-only. Disappearing messages, view once and live location sharing are turned off in one-to-one chats. Groups are not synchronised, nor are WhatsApp for Windows or WearOS. Finally, the app must be opened at least once every 14 days to keep the connection active.
Is there a volume limit?
Yes: 20 messages per second on a coexistence number, to stay compatible with the app. Worth keeping in mind for mass sends.
What if the advisor and the AI agent reply at the same time?
The customer could receive two replies. Sandra prevents this with handover rules that pause the AI as soon as a human steps in.
Is it available in Switzerland and France?
Yes, Europe is covered. Only a few countries, including Nigeria and South Africa, are not yet supported.
